Evangelism Our Supreme Task

Copy right 2008
It was in mid 1995 that the Lord first showed pastor Chris and Philomina the
vision for Revival Assembly Int’l Church. They had arrived Lagos, Nigeria,
escaping persecution by the Cameroon government when they decided to embark
on a three days fasting and prayer to ask God for direction in their life. On the
second day as Philomina laid resting on the alter of the church, she fell into sleep
and the Lord took her into a state of trance in which He showed her multitudes of
people, blacks and whites worshiping together and pastor Chris was the minister.
AT THE VERY MOMENT God was revealing this to her, pastor Chris, lying on a
wooden bench, was receiving a similar revelation. “We knew this was God’s
assignment for us" Pastor Chris said later on. But never for once did it occur to
them that this revelation was going to be fulfilled in the USA.
When they eventually got resettled in the USA, five years after the vision, it
was then it began to done on them that this is where the vision was meant to
be. After seeking the Lord, praying and getting involved in local evangelism in their
first year in Concord, New Hampshire, they took a step of faith and planted the
Revival Assembly Int’l Church.
OUR VISION
Besides Evangelism, which we vehemently believe is the “Supreme Task” of
the church, our vision is summarized in three phrases "SAVE THEM,
EMPOWER THEM and SEND THEM. To acheive this, we build up personal
ministry in every believer by encouraging them to develop and function in the gifts
of the Holy Spirit so they can effect an impact in the community. As the Lord
helps, we are committed in reaching the nations of the World with the gospel of
Christ through sending out missionaries, finances and material.
